Residentials are an opportunity to dive deeper. I facilitate a space where people can explore. Currently I do two, one is a clown residential, the other is a creation week where people start to discover a possible performance they have inside them.
Creation weeks began because I realised how often I’d listen to people telling me about a magnificent idea they had but how they didn’t know how to make it happen. Slowly a structure has emerged which encourages people to begin a process in finding form for something that is very much theirs. This has led to further development work and some incredibly special shows.
Clown residentials enable people to enter an open, playful, sensitive state and stay there and so their clowning and performance can travel further than if they had to return each day to their normal lives.
